Notice of Election: London Borough of Islington election of councillors for Hillrise Ward on 15 August 2024
Number of councillors to be elected: one (1).
- Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Electoral Services, Islington Town Hall, Upper Street, London, N1 2UD on any day after the date of this notice, on Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4pm on Friday, 19 July 2024.
- Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Electoral Services, Islington Town Hall, Upper Street, London, N1 2UD, during the times stated above.
- If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 15 August 2024.
- Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 11.59pm on Tuesday, 30 July 2024. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
- Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Electoral Services, Islington Town Hall, Upper Street, London, N1 2UD by 5pm on Wednesday, 31 July 2024.
- New applications to vote by proxy and applications for Voter Authority Certificates for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Electoral Services, Islington Town Hall, Upper Street, London, N1 2UD by 5pm on Wednesday 7 August 2024.
- New applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Electoral Services, Islington Town Hall, Upper Street, London, N1 2UD by 5pm on Thursday, 15 August 2024.
